When the moon hits your eye like a big optical illusion
The moon will look huge tonight thanks to a quirk in our visual system, which evolved to avoid leopards and track down prey on an open savannah instead of correctly estimating the size of heavenly bodies near the horizon line. Or for those of you who prefer creation science, Jesus will temporarily inflate the moon with his holy bicycle pump as it rises this evening, but it should be deflated and back to normal by the time its high in the sky. Glory!
