Skyscraper that changes shape
Another cool bit of architecture from Dubai.  Although if the building is never the same shape twice, how the hell are you supposed to find your aparment?

Me too, I just wish it was our future instead of the UAE's. Thats our petro-dollars at work, buying Dubai the very best :/

When I first saw this I seriously thought about moving... it is the coolest housing ever built. I wonder if it will be copied around the world?

Its very cool, but whenever you've got moving parts at that level you're going to have problems. It seems like a break-down bonanza.

I am pretty sure they've thought about that, and engineered it so that the breakdowns are kept to a minimum. A fire in this building might be an interesting affair though...

Honestly I know what you mean. Buildings are supposed to be solid, fixed objects in the landscape. Plus I bet in time those apartments are going to fall right off that thing. All it will take is a stiff wind.
